10 Years on!

I was just six when this all began
With that September 22nd brain scan.
Each chemotherapy round
Was like a rollercoaster up and down:
ANC low, fevers, ER visits
and even a broken port,
But each time I have soldiered on and fought.
Now I am seven and I have survived
this year-long test.
Let's pray that this nasty weed
will now lay to rest
